Gently toss the cornbread cubes with olive oil or melted butter.
Arrange the cubes in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Option 2: Sautéing
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil or butter.
Add the cornbread cubes to the skillet, spreading them out evenly.
Sauté the cubes for 6–8 minutes, tossing occasionally, until they are golden and crisp on all sides.
Remove from the skillet and let cool before adding to your salad or dish.
