Simple Garlic Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1-2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a large sauté pan.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms and cook over medium to high heat, stirring occasionally, until most of the liquid from the mushrooms has evaporated and the mushrooms are nicely browned.
  • Turn the heat down to low.
  • Sprinkle the minced garlic over the mushrooms, mix to distribute, and sauté for one to two minutes.
  • Remove from heat, season with salt and pepper, and serve.
