2-3slicesof appleuse a sweet apple, not a tart variety
1/4teaspoonturmeric powder
2slicesof fresh ginger root
2inchesof cinnamon stick
6-8black peppercorns
Optional: 1-2 teaspoons honey
Instructions
Place all of the ingredients in a large mug.
Pour enough boiling water over it to fill the cup.
Let it steep for 5 minutes.
Stir and enjoy.
Notes
You can refill the mug with more hot water once or twice adding a bit more turmeric. If you are worried about swallowing or biting down on a peppercorn, strain them out before drinking.
