Ingredients

  • 2-3 slices of apple use a sweet apple, not a tart variety
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 slices of fresh ginger root
  • 2 inches of cinnamon stick
  • 6-8 black peppercorns
  • Optional: 1-2 teaspoons honey

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients in a large mug.
  • Pour enough boiling water over it to fill the cup.
  • Let it steep for 5 minutes.
  • Stir and enjoy.

Notes

You can refill the mug with more hot water once or twice adding a bit more turmeric.
If you are worried about swallowing or biting down on a peppercorn, strain them out before drinking.
